Local Authority Estate Management 2015

Wednesday 7th October 2015, Royal Armouries, Leeds LS10 1LT

The range and scope of the estate held by all public sector organisations is vast, having an estimated value of £370 billion with annual running costs of £25billion. This is despite the disposal of some of the surplus land and property assets which has already taken place and indeed is still taking on-going.

All those who are charged with managing this estate have the task od doing so in a manner which allows their organisation to realise the full potential from their remaining asset base while using that base to enable transformative change to public services. These challenges appear all the more daunting when faced with the prospect of more cuts to budgets

This year’s Local Authority Estate Management 2015 Conference: Unlocking Potential, Enabling Transformation will focus on the practicalities of confronting these challenges and achieving these goals. In its sixth year the conference will again give delegates the opportunity to hear from high level speakers, take part in sessions featuring best practice case studies, network with peers from the public sector and engage with expert, experienced solution providers.
